Performing
correlations between the 6 factors and age/gender, here are the
significant findings. The FPS (-.27) and MM (-.28) genre correlate negatively with age. Thus young gamers tend to like these games while older gamers tend to find these games less appealing. The opposite is true for logic/card games which correlate positively (.12) with age. Male gamers find the FPS (-.30) and the War/Strategy (-.33) games more appealing, while female gamers find them less appealing.
