I had doubts about releasing all survey responses at first because I wasn't sure whether I would be betraying my respondents in some way. In the end, I felt like I wasn't because I have taken out the email address fields in all surveys and the likelihood of knowing any of the named characters in these surveys is minimal given the enormous amounts of people playing EQ, and thus multiple characters from different servers could have the same name. I have also taken out all responses to the 2-3 questions that asked respondents to list their characters. Very few people actually used names in any of their responses. Also, there are close to 2500 responses, so there is very little exposure to any one given individual's responses.
If you have any concerns at all, please email me immediately and I will remove your records from the download files.
