During the holidays, guild members tend to lose interest somewhat in advancing through the game. They understandably want to take time out preparing for real life festivities and then spending time with their families. Rather than pressuring people to forget the holidays, my raiding guild (Prime on Ysera, World of Warcraft) decided to go with the flow and make the most of the holiday spirit. We gathered our resources and made a public event out of giving gifts to random low level characters who were just starting out. It was a riot transforming into helper elves and following our guild master in his Santa role from place to place. More images of this event can be found
here.

This was the memorial service for Goodman, a dedicated Ultima Online player who passed away a couple of years ago. He gave much to the gaming community, and was widely known for his altruism and kindness. He will be missed.

This was an event several years ago on the Dark Age of Camelot server of Guinevere when a friend of one of the major guilds passed away - it was held in the Frontiers, an open battlefield for all the realms. The amazing this was that no one attacked, and in the screen you can see all three realms mingling. There was an absolutely massive amount of people there.

A Terrorist attack against Madrid was done on Tuesday 11 of March of 2004. Suddenly much players of Tibia (Spanish, Hispanics and from other countries) selected black clothes, much of them come to "North Port" where a small symbolic temple was built from 14:00 to pass midnight as a way to say NO to terrorist acts. We kept a flame alive during those hours using mage spells.

Shortly after release, ArenaNet added "treasures" to Guild Wars: Nightfall. These locations functioned like chests, only they required no keys to open, always gave a rare item and some gold, and were located in static locations rather than randomly placed about the map. These treasure locations can only be looted once per character. This particular shot was taken after Kaz and I had accidentally stumbled upon the location, before the feature was announced. We were giddy with excitement when we found this massive pile of riches, until we clicked it and were ambushed by some nasty mobs in close quarters. Afterward we collected our rare loot, and took this triumphant screenshot.
